Postdoc position available

We are looking for a postdoc. This position is funded by the Australian Centre of Excellence in Quantum Biotechnology (QUBIC). The centre aims to develop paradigm-shifting quantum technologies to observe biological processes and transform our understanding of life.

We are seeking candidates who meet the following selection criteria:

• A recent PhD in Chemistry, Physics, or a related field
• Expertise in applying/developing computational methods (physics-based and/or data-driven) to study enzymatic reactions or semiclassical/quantum dynamics in molecular systems
• Expertise in any one or more of the following areas: large scale biomolecular simulations, (bio)catalysis and protein/drug design

Employment Details:

• Expected Starting Data: Oct 2024 (open till filled)
• Fixed Term, full-time appointment (3 years, 1.0FTE)
• Level A: $90,795 - $106,374 + 17% Superannuation
• Deadline: 01 Sept 2024
